I think it's tit for tat. I'm not saying I support censorship, but I sincerely doubt DU professors and debates were being earnest when they discussed topics more beloved to the left, like views on Islam or economics. 

What allegedly seems to have happened was only inevitable when you squash an entire faction of the student body/general population from having the right to discuss and debate its views. It's like a pressure cooker- release the pressure early on or let it build up until you can't control it.

Our own law says Innocent until proven guilty. Anybody can invite anybody. Rajmas did nothing illegal in that. Using violence as a method to stop an event is illegal. We must not manufacture our interpretation of the law, constitution and patriotism(nationalism) and try to use that interpretation to curb free debate. Also, under Sec 124A of the IPC, any citizen is free to criticize the government or any policy unless they do not provoke a feeling of hatred. Citizens are free to express there dissatisfaction. We live in a democracy and not a tyranny.

Any complaints against these goons gets wiped out by those professors, they hold those bogus Ayush seminars in campus which are nothing but RSS-appreciation day and they provide the financial need to the goons from the local MLAs in order to indoctrinate the freshers arriving after admission.
